Asteroid Belt (or World 7-5) is the third level of Starry Skies in Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii. It's a space-themed level taking place in the middle of an asteroid field full of Amps.

Asteroid Belt is unlocked by completing Electron Tower. Completing its normal exit will unlock Spintop Nebula, and completing its secret exit will unlock The Blue Switch Palace.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: As soon as you see the first black Warp Pipe facing downwards, enter it. You will enter a secret area with the Star Coin stacked by two moving Amps. Be careful to not shock yourself and jump whenever there is a clear opening.
  • Star Coin 2: Right after the checkpoint and after the asteroid with spinning Question Blocks, the asteroid with two Amps spinning around it will have the Star Coin right above. Jump off from the asteroid to the right and land when the Amps are facing the opposite direction to collect the Star Coin safely.
  • Star Coin 3: You will need to activate the Blue Switch Palace first. Just before the end of the level, there will be a Star Coin surrounded by two small asteroids. To remove them, head down to the blue colored blocks and hit the ? Switch to blow up the asteroids that block the Star Coin. From there, you can collect it normally.

Secret exit

Immediately after the short sequence with asteroids with spinning Amps on it is a black Warp Pipe in the higher end of the screen. Jump to reach the Warp Pipe and enter it to enter the room with the secret flagpole. Make sure to use the asteroid above the Warp Pipe as there is no ground in between the pipe and the flagpole.
