Bombard Cliffs is the fifth and final secret world in Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii. It takes place in a dangerous Bob-omb-filled cavern.
As with every secret world, it does not have a boss—in fact, it doesn't even have a fortress or tower of its own.
Overview[]
Bombard Cliffs is an open cavern with a green-blue sky. Its main gimmick is its abundance of Bob-ombs as the player ventures across the dangerous bridges. One of Bombard Cliff's unique foes is the Bomb Bro, a Hammer Bro variation that throws bombs.
Bombard Cliffs can only be accessed through completing Buried Boneyard in Pumpkin Boneyard. Completion of Bombassault Gorge grants access to a shortcut to Palm Beach in Yoshi's Island.
Levels[]
Level number | Level name | Preview | Description |
---|---|---|---|
E-1 | Bombshell Bridge | An autoscrolling level in the caverns filled with Bob-ombs, Bullet Bills, and Switchbacks. | |
E-2 | Fallout Footbridge | A dangerous portion that marks the Bomb Bro's first appearance. | |
E-3 | Bombassault Gorge | An even more dangerous portion full of Big Bob-ombs. |
