Bone Marrow Road
|Game||Newer Super Mario Bros. DS|
|Previous level||(4-) Spiritful Steeple|
|Next level||(4-) The House of Doors|
Bone Marrow Road (or World 4-4) is the fifth level of Pumpkin Boneyard in Newer Super Mario Bros. DS.
Bone Marrow Road is unlocked by completing Spiritful Steeple. Completing it will unlock The House of Doors.
Star Coin 1: At the very beginning of the stage, you will find some bones sticking diagonally out from the walls. Drop down the hole to reach the Star Coin, but make sure you land on the moving bones below.
Star Coin 2: Later on in the level, you will find a huge spring. You can carry these, so bring it back slightly to the left, where you can launch yourself off of it into the Star Coin.
Star Coin 3: Near the end of the stage, you will find a ? Switch that you must hit to move the vertical bones down out of the way. Hit it, but rush up to these bones, as there is a pipe below that you must get to on your first try, as the bones do not return to their original position. After entering said pipe, ground-pound to get the Star Coin.
- This is one of the few levels in Newer Super Mario Bros. DS to have a 3-Up Moon. Upon entering the Warp Pipe for the third Star Coin, ground pound and you'll find yourself a 3-Up Moon.
- In "Newer DS 4-4," this level is shown to have the name "Osseous Road."
