Bubble Basin (or World 3-6) is the seventh level of Mushroom Peaks in Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii. It takes place in an underwater cave filled with Cheep Cheeps and Warp Pipes blowing air currents.

Bubble Basin is unlocked by completing Burnblaze Tower or Formidable Fortress in Mini-Mega Island. Completing it will unlock Slanty Shroomroad and Mushroom Music House.

Star Coins[]

  • Star Coin 1: At the start of the level, you'll find a P Switch next to some pipes. The yellow Warp Pipe near the P Switch is enterable, but it has strong currents blocking its entry. Activate the P Switch to temporarily disable these currents. Once inside, wait for the currents in the middle to stop before going for it.
  • Star Coin 2: Just before the checkpoint, you'll find a group of pipes with strong currents. You may either swim up to find a ? Switch, and activate it to temporarily disable the currents, or you can quickly swim from under the currents to reach it.
  • Star Coin 3: Right after the only Cheep Chomp, you'll find two paths. Take the upper path, then follow it to reach the Star Coin.

Trivia[]

  • There was once a glitch where when playing this level, Slanty Shroomroad would play instead.
