Dry Bones are enemies that appear in Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii and Newer Super Mario Bros. DS. They mainly appear in castle or lava-themed levels. Dry Bones are skeletal, dried out, Koopa Troopas.
All Dry Bones are capable of rebuilding their body after being hurt. This outstanding process takes place only a few seconds after being stomped on.
But the player can defeat Dry Bones for good, but it takes magic bombs, Ice flowers, or a penguin suit, shell collision, or a possesion of a star to do so.
