Pyramid Castle (or World 2-
) is the castle and the seventh level of Rubble Ruins in Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii. It takes place in a pyramid where enemy statues come to life. King Thwomp is fought at its end.
Pyramid Castle is unlocked by completing Windworn Dunes, the normal exit of Pillar Pass, or Fossil Tunnel. Completing it will unlock Sandship.

Boss Battle[]
King Thwomp will move from side to side in addition to dropping when Mario is underneath, which will break a layer of the blocks that make up the floor. As with his first fight in Pipeline Tower, the goal of this boss fight is to make King Thwomp break the ground multiple times, enough to get him to fall into the bottomless pit.
Star Coins[]
- Star Coin 1: A Fire Flower or Hammer Suit is recommended for this one, and it's in the first yellow Warp Pipe (which is blocked off by a frozen Piranha Plant). Go into the warp pipe, and upon entering, hit the ? Switch and throw the POW Block in this order to claim the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2: Go into the upwards yellow Warp Pipe after a series of Thwomps, which can be entered by activating the ? Switch right in front of it. Inside, there are are a bunch of Piranha Plants, with the Star Coin to the right. Get it, then watch out for the Piranha Plants.
- Star Coin 3: After the checkpoint, there will be a frozen Thwomp. After this Thwomp is a ? Switch. Jump on it, then quickly run right before the proceeding ? Switch is closed away. If done correctly, this'll open a new warp pipe, which leads to a room where the ceiling's going crush you. Quickly run right, and you will reach the Star Coin.
