Freezeflame Glacier is the main section of the fifth world in Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, with the rest of World 5 being in Freezeflame Volcano. It's a snowy area with a large volcano within, inspired by Freezeflame Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy.
Its tower and castle bosses are Pyro and Cryo and its airship boss is Wendy O. Koopa.
Overview[]
Freezeflame Glacier is an ice-themed glacier for its first six levels, but from Molten Icelifts until the final level of Freezeflame Volcano, it is a mix of fire and ice as Mario enters a volcano.
Freezeflame Glacier can only be accessed through completing Nutscrew Airship in Sakura Village. Completion of Snowdrift Airship grants access to Bonechill Shaft in Pumpkin Boneyard. Completion of the secret exit of Snowfall Peak grants access to The Red Switch Palace in Crystal Caves.
