Goombas are depicted as brown mushroom-like creatures with feet. They have bushy eyebrows and a pair of fangs sprouting from their lower jaw.
Goombas can appear in different colors. In Navyblue Molemine, they appear blue, and in Grey Mountains, they appear grey. Also, in snowy levels, Goombas wear Santa hats. These Goombas are known as Christmas Goombas.
Goombas appear the same as the last game. Though this time, they're 2D sprites instead of 3D models. This is because in the original game, they're 2D sprites.
As with Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, some Goombas wear Santa hats. But in Lunar Realm, some Goombas wear astronaut helmets. These are called Space Goombas. Also, in Pumpkin Boneyard, Bone Goombas can be found.
Goombas are the easiest enemies in the game. They slowly walk left and right, fall off ledges, and can be defeated by almost anything.
Goombas behave the exact same as the last game. They walk slowly, fall off ledges, and can be killed by almost anything.
