Big Koopa Troopa
In Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, Koopa Troopas are extremely common enemies in the game, appearing in a majority of the game's levels. In this game, Koopas can come in green, red, blue, purple, orange, cyan, black and white colors, though the green and red Koopas are more commonly used while the latter six are extremely rare.
Koopa Troopas have yellow heads, arms, legs, and tails. They have shells, which can be different colors, along with shoes, which are the same colors as their shells.
In snowy levels, Koopa Troopas wear blue coats, which can mess with the player, since the only difference between a green Koopa and a red Koopa are their shoes. These Koopas are called Sweater Koopa Troopas.
Koopa Troopas behave differently due to the colors of their shells. Though they share most of the same traits.
When a player jumps on a Koopa Troopa, they will hide in their shells. This shell can be picked up or kicked in a direction. The majority of enemies will die if they're hit be a sliding Koopa shell.
As mentioned before, Koopa Troopas appear in many colors. Primarily red and green. These colors will change the Koopa Troopas behavior, but not by much.
- Green: Green Koopa Troopas will fall off ledges.
- Red: Red Koopa Troopas will turn around at ledges.
- Other Colors: Other-colored Koopa Troopas seem to have both traits from red and green. Some Koopas fall off ledges, others turn around on ledges.
In Newer Super Mario Bros. DS, Koopa Troopas appear again as common enemies. They first appear in the first level, Everbrown Meadow, and last appear in the last fight with Bowser. In this game, instead of only green and red being common, blue is now a common color of Koopa.
Koopa Troopas don't resemble much different to Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii's Koopa Troopas. Their sprites have been modified to resemble their sprites in New Super Mario Bros. Wii rather than their sprites in New Super Mario Bros.
Koopa Troopas act the exact same to their Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii versions. Though this time, there's a common blue Koopa Troopa, which acts the exact same as a red Koopa Troopa.
