Leafpile Castle (or World 1-) is the seventh and final level, as well as castle of Goldleaf Plains from Newer Super Mario Bros. DS. It's heavily inspired by Leafpile Fortress from Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, all the way down to the name. You fight the king Koopa Bowser for the first time here.
- Star Coin 1: Near the start, grab a Koopa Troopa, then throw it at a Star Coin that's over a pit.
- Star Coin 2: After receiving the Mega Mushroom, keep going right until you reach a Stone Block building. Break it, and you'll get the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3: You need to be Super Mario or up to get this Star Coin. After the ? Switch found after the checkpoint, ground pound some Brick Blocks beside the Arrow Sign. This'll lead you to a Warp Pipe, which'll lead you to a secret area with dangerous Rotating Lifts. At the end of this area is a Star Coin.
