Magmatrack Getaway (or World 8-A) is the eleventh level of Koopa Country in Newer Super Mario Bros. DS.
Magmatrack Getaway is unlocked by completing Firehoop Inferno. Completing it will unlock Bowser's Castle.
Star Coins[]
Star Coin 1: On the first loop let the minecart go all the way around the loop.
Star Coin 2: On the loop with the Firehoops follow the coins on the bottom path until it reveals more on top. Keep riding on the loop until the star coin appears.
Star Coin 3: At the end of the level, no effort needed.
Trivia[]
- In the original New Super Mario Bros., this level was the second tower of World 8. The Newer Team decided to replace it with a normal level, which is also what they did with Runbow Road. Because there isn’t a texture for the number 9, this level is not labelled as 8-9.
- However, 8-9 remained in Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii.
- This and Wagon Way are the only Minecart themed levels.
