While I appreciate the edits, that gallery just doesn't really make sense with the context of our Wiki. Those images simply don't relate to Newer aside from the fact that they all have King Boo. Galleries on this Wiki should show images from Newer Super Mario Bros., not images from random official Mario games.
Hello! While I can't promise I'll be here all the time, I will try to edit as much as I can. I just got a bit bored of Mario stuff, though now I have the energy to edit again (especially with this virus stuff going on).
Do you mind if I replace videos for the gameplay part of the level pages for Newer DS? My videos are shorter (while still retaining all the star coin locations and secret exits), as well as the fact that they show off the title screen changing with each world as well.
Well, "official" walkthroughs are more so developer commentaries, while "unofficial" walkthroughs are just gameplay. Also, unofficial walkthroughs are one, big video showcasing an entire world, while official walkthroughs are divided into parts. I just think it's better to put both because you have the gameplay and developer commentary all in one place for a level.
Oh wait, I just realized you were talking about the Newer Wii ones... well, I don't know what to do with these, but I would still like it if you could find the official and unofficial walkthroughs somewhere...
I’m just letting you know I might be a bit slow in replies or edits, I’ll be on mobile because my computer is currently broken. But I do intend at one point to clean up some source code in the wiki so it moves faster and it’s more organized. I also plan to add the Level Type templates again, because I’m not sure what happened to those but they’re just gone. Lol. I’m going to minimize the types that are there, but I also want to be thorough. If you have any suggestions, let me know! I’ll be slow, but I’m still around ^^
Holy cow I'm so sorry, I've been relying on Wiki to send me notifications and I just haven't been getting any
I would like if you could add them back, yes, and I'd like to actually refer back to the Music of the game. The music helps to identify what kind of level it is, and the whole theme and stuff. So I'll go through every level and add that in this case
Well, first, click the link at the top of your screen when you're on your wiki. Then, delete everything after /wiki/. After this, after /wiki/, write "Template:" and then whatever you want to name the template (no spaces). Then click "create", select "infobox", then click in the button that looks like this: "" in the right corner. Then, go to Template:Infobox level new and click "edit". It'll probably bring to the source code of the infobox. Copy and paste this source code into your new infobox, and voila! You can edit it to fit your own wiki, though you must first get familiar with the source editor to make major edits to the template.
I'd like to make the case to remove message walls and bring the return of message pages. They're easier to organize and archive, so I think it'd be better for the wiki. Please let me know what you think about this
While it might take a *little* more work, it is definitely more eye-appealing and manageable. I highly recommend using these rather than the message walls. They're very messy and unorganized, in my opinion
Also sorry for the really late reply, Wiki has stopped providing notifications for me
Honestly, I think we should keep Message Walls. I looked at the Pokemon Wiki, and it doesn't really look too visually appealing. Also, I don't like the idea that you can't see a profile pic, and if someone doesn't have a custom signature then it's hard to know who wrote it. Also, in my opinion, they're way less manageable.
Message Walls are better by a landslide. It shows your profile pic and username and they're more manageable. If you want to remove a reply, click the remove button, and boom! It's gone. They have these buttons and they're more organized than talk pages.
