Question Blocks, also known as ? Blocks, are extremely common blocks found throughout the Newer Super Mario Bros. series. They're seen in almost every level, providing players with powerups, coins, and even secrets.
Appearance[]
Question Blocks are yellow blocks with small indents in each corner and a white question mark on each of their sides excluding their top and bottom. This question mark constantly spins across their surface rightward.
Function[]
Question Blocks often float stationary midair, though are also found spinning around certain things and on the ground. When a Question Block is hit from below, ground pounded from above, or hit by some sort of shell, it'll turn into a Used Block before ejecting something out of its top.
