Layout[]
Boss battle[]
Samerguy's boss battle in the castle is almost the same as his tower battle. He will quickly run around the room with his sword. Jump on his head after he breaks his sword, temporarily stunning him. After one hit, Samerguy will run around while sticking his sword upward, preventing you from jumping on him. Wait until Samerguy's sword is facing forward before jumping on his head again.
Star Coins[]
- Star Coin 1: This Star Coin will be in plain sight over a pit. You must either throw a frozen enemy at it, or use a Propeller Suit to get it.
- Star Coin 2: After the checkpoint, this Star Coin will be in plain sight in between some stationary Hammerswings. You must either throw a frozen enemy at it, use a Propeller Suit, or wall jump in between the hammerswings to get it.
- Star Coin 3: This Star Coin will be in plain sight under the ground. This Star Coin is currently inaccessible, until you reach the end of the stair series. Fall into a pit with the trail of coins pointing to the ground This will lead you to a secret room with many Mario monk statues and an out-of-reach Warp Pipe. Behind the center Mario monk statue will be a Springboard. Use it to reach the Warp Pipe. This will then lead you to the third and final Star Coin.
Music[]
Throughout the castle up until the player enters the boss door, the primary castle theme of the game plays. During the boss fight itself, the tower boss music plays.
