Koopa Troopas (Red)
|Previous level||(3-B) Dorrie Den|
|Next level||(3-) Overgrown Armoury|
Skeeter Coast (or World 3-C) is the third alternate level of Dorrie's Island in Newer Super Mario Bros. DS.
Skeeter Coast is unlocked by completing Dorrie Den. Completing it will unlock Overgrown Armoury.
Star Coin 1: Manipulate the nearby Skeeter to release a bomb over a set of Hard Blocks, then swim to the Star Coin.
Star Coin 2: Just past the checkpoint, you will find a ? Switch. Hit it to slowly flood the stage, just like in 3-2. The only difference here is that you must now run (or swim) back to the set of previously inaccessible platforms above the checkpoint, then jump up to grab the Star Coin.
Star Coin 3: In the water past the ? Switch, you will find a set of platforms above a yellow pipe. Swim down into this pipe, then manipulate the Skeeter's bombs to break a path to the third and final Star Coin.
- In "Newer SMB DS - Preview One Thousand And Fourish," this level is shown to have the name "Scuttlebug Coast." This was a mistake on Skawo's part, as he thought Skeeters were named Scuttlebugs.
