Slanty Shroomroad (or World 3-7) is the eighth level of Mushroom Peaks in Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii. It's a mountain-themed level with many slanted Mushroom Platforms and Boomerang Bros..

Slanty Shroomroad is unlocked by completing Fungi Pit or Bubble Basin. Completing it will unlock Moltenwire Castle.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: Not too far into the level, you'll find two Chain Chomps under some slanted Mushroom Platforms. Beside these Chain Chomps is a Brick wall, blocking the Star Coin. You must either ground pound the Chain Chomp's stick to make it jump around and break the wall, or use a Koopa Troopa shell to break through the wall and get to the Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 2: After the first set of Boomerang Bros, this Star Coin will be on a green slanted mushroom platform. You must get up there by either getting the secret Yoshi (unlocked by activating the Yellow Switch) and flutter jumping from the left of it, or you can go to the right and jump on some Mushroom Platforms to reach it.
  • Star Coin 3: After the checkpoint, there will be a Boomerang Bro on some Brick Blocks in between some Chain Chomps. Defeat the Boomerang Bro by breaking the Brick Blocks under it (but don't break too much), then use Yoshi or a Propeller Suit to reach a hidden Warp Pipe over the bricks. This will lead you to a place high in the sky, where you'll find the last Star Coin.

  • There was once a glitch where this level would play in place of Bubble Basin, the level right before this one.
