Star Coins[]

  • Star Coin 1: There will be two sets of Brick Blocks that contain Big Spike Tops leading up to a Star Coin lying on a set of Blue Blocks. Use the Hammer Suit provided at the beginning or a Koopa shell to kill the Big Spike Tops and safely reach the Star Coin. If you have the Blue Switch Palace activated, this Star Coin should be easier to reach.
  • Star Coin 2: Not long after two sets of Munchers should be a Star Coin located directly in between two platforms lying right above a stone platform. Grab the Star Coin when the Big Spike Tops are not in the way.
  • Star Coin 3: You will need to be at least Super Mario. Right before the end of the level are three moving platforms. Located in between the second and third moving platforms near the end is a pink Warp Pipe facing downwards. Jump and enter the Warp Pipe to enter a secret room. Safely jump across the brick block platforms that contain Spike Tops towards the end to find the final Star Coin enclosed in a Brick Block cage. Ground pound the top of it to reach the Star Coin, but not all the way until you fall to your death.
