Wiggler Woods (or World 1-4) is the fifth level of Goldleaf Plains in Newer Super Mario Bros. DS. It's a fall-themed forest level marking the Mega Wiggler's only appearance.

Wiggler Woods is unlocked by completing the normal exit of Ropeblast Tower. Completing it will unlock Unsteady Gorge and a Star Coin Sign blocking Goldbush Pond.

Star Coins[]

  • Star Coin 1: Near the start of the level, this Star Coin will be in plain sight on a tree. Use the two Scuttlebugs beside it to get enough height to get it.
  • Star Coin 2: Near the middle of the Mega Wiggler section, this Star Coin will be in plain sight. Either use a Scuttlebug beside it or use the Mega Wiggler's jump to get it.
  • Star Coin 3: This Star Coin may take a few attempts to get. Right after the second Star Coin, grab the Springboard. Then run (or wait) until you see the third Star Coin up above. This is where it gets tricky. Throw the Springboard behind you, then time your jumps so you can jump off the Springboard and get the Star Coin. This is tricky because the Mega Wiggler is constantly moving, giving you a hard time to jump on the Springboard.
