World 1 is the only world in Newer: Holiday Special.

Its tower and castle boss is Larry Koopa.

Overview

World 1 is automatically accessible upon creating a new save file. Completion of World 1- grants access to World 2-1 and World 2-2 in World 2, though they are both borders leading no further. Completion of the secret exit of World 1-3 grants access to World 1-, leading to World 5-1 in World 5, which is also a border leading no further.

World 1-2		An icy underground cave featuring Huck-Ice Crabs and icicles.
World 1-3		A snowy level featuring giant Koopa Troopa shells, as well as Yoshi's only appearance.
World 1-		A tower filled with ice, featuring a vast number of Ice Thwomps and Dry Bones.
World 1-4		A level that utilizes ! Switches which enable Dotted-Line Blocks.
World 1-5		A level that features rolling ice platforms and rolling mushroom blocks.
World 1-6		A Penguin Suit-themed level filled with Cooligans.
World 1-		A haunted house that has 8 rooms.
